The tool is not the job title’s magic
How a student should treat AI and research tools is already in . Read that note before this one if you are tempted to skip the checking. The jobs themselves sit on the map in : a company seat, a firm’s knowledge team, or a compliance desk. None of those seats is created by installing software. The daily skill is still . If a citation is wrong, the tool does not attend the hearing.
What employers actually ask
They ask whether you can read a clause, keep a document set straight, and explain a limit in the tool. They do not, in any rule this page can cite, ask you to let a model sign an opinion. Some roles are open to graduates who are not enrolled as advocates. Some court-facing roles are not. Read the notice. Do not describe yourself as counsel because you can write a prompt. Confidential client text does not go into a public tool. That warning is a career rule, not only a classroom rule.
How to prepare a sample without a product review
Bring a before-and-after: a messy question, the source you opened, and the sentence you would stand behind. You do not need to review the market. This note will not. You do not need to claim a vendor partnership. If you have not used a tool on a text you then checked, do not list the tool.
A hypothetical about a model as a colleague
Hypothetical. A student lists “AI counsel” on a resume and says the model handles research. A reviewer asks for one judgment the student opened last week. There is none. The rewrite retitles the interest as study, points to a memo the student actually wrote, and removes the word counsel. No product is added to fill the gap.
A checklist for this kind of work
Keep the human on the citation. 1. Read the employer’s notice. 2. Say whether the role needs enrolment. 3. Show one text you opened yourself. 4. Do not call a tool an advocate. 5. Do not paste client files into a public system. 6. Do not invent a salary or a product price. 7. Use the technology note for the checking habit, and this note only for the career shape.
Kanoons Academy does not currently list a separate LAWCET, CLAT, or AP LAWCET batch in the catalogue; these notes are study material, and counselling is via . The nearest catalogue course is . That course teaches how to read an Act, a rule, and a judgment note. It is not an entrance-test batch, and the button on this page uses the course’s own name.
Frequently asked questions
Does legal technology replace advocates?
No. Software can sort text. Enrolment, a brief, and a judgment are still human and legal events. A tool does not hold a sanad.
Should I list chatbots as work experience?
List work you did and can explain. Using a tool is not a job. A checked memo is closer to evidence of skill.
Which product should I learn?
This note does not recommend a product or a price. Learn to read a source and to reject a citation you cannot open.
Is this the same article as the AI study note?
No. That note is about checking tools while you study. This one is about employment that uses tools. Neither one hires you.
