Careers after LLB
An LLB is a degree. Practising as an advocate is a later, regulated step: enrolment with a State Bar Council, under rules set with the Bar Council of India. A job in a company, a clerkship, a compliance role, or a tax practice is not the same event as that enrolment. These notes keep the two apart. They do not publish form numbers, enrolment fees, or a success rate. Confirm the current enrolment rules on barcouncilofindia.org and with the State Bar Council you would actually join.
Nothing here guarantees a chamber, a law-firm seat, or a government post. Author bylines are editorial chairs, not named advocates. The nearest catalogue course is still Reading a Statute, because the skill these notes assume is reading the law, not a placement cell. Tax careers are a different cluster: see the knowledge note only if you are actually asking about taxation work, via the careers articles linked from the pieces below.
Pathway choice is on the LLB hub. Questions come through contact.
