Law education / Subjects
These are first-course notes. They name the statute to open and the concepts a class usually tests. They do not replace the bare Act, and they do not invent section numbers where the text should be read. Criminal law and evidence use the current codes — Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam — and treat the IPC, CrPC, and Indian Evidence Act as historical names. There is no conversion chart of old and new section numbers.
Leading cases are mentioned only at principle level, where the principle is stable. There is still no series of judgment explainers. How to read case law tells you to open a verified judgment. It does not load holdings. Company law is the one subject that points at a professional filing course, Corporate Law and ROC Filings, because registrar work is something a reader may actually need done. Every other note on this page uses Reading a Statute as the catalogue neighbour. Neither course is an LLB paper.
Official text of Central Acts is on India Code. Pathway notes are on the LLB hub. Contact does not enrol you in a university.
